How does this work?

Give us a list of 2-20 meaningful locations (eg. New York, NY - Boston, MA - Paris, France - Montego Bay, Jamaica...). We cannot add the exact addresses, mountain cabins, beach resorts, hiking trails, ski resorts or ski runs with vintage maps - in those cases, we either use more recent topographic maps or place the vintage map that shows the city or the area where the said address, beach resort, hiking trail or ski run is located.

We use vintage maps, mostly from the early and mid-20th century, up to the 1980s. Their vintage and timeless look is a perfect way of displaying your most memorable journeys.

We need a day or two to prepare your artwork. Once it's done, we will email a proof to you and we won't print the artwork until you are completely satisfied with the result.

Upon your approval, the artwork will be printed and shipped.

Can I review the Artwork?

Absolutely! We need a day or two to prepare your artwork. Once it's done, we will email you a proof for your approval.

You will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the artist so you can get artwork that you will absolutely love!

Can I know the product details?

CANVAS: Your artwork is printed directly onto the artist-grade poly-cotton blend canvas. The scratch-resistant UV coating ensures that your artwork stays beautiful for a long time. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Fabricated to stay taut and flat.

BIRCH WOOD: Your artwork is printed directly onto 3/8" thick beautiful birch wood panels. Their natural unique grain will ensure no two are ever identical. Light-colored areas of your artwork will allow the wood grain to show through slightly.
Each panel comes with predrilled keyholes for flush wall mounting. The diameter of the screw hole is 5/16” which is good for an average size screw.
The smaller sizes (5" x 7" and 8" x 10") also include a small dowel for an easy-to-set upstand.

Can I add more locations per mountain?

There should be only one location per "mountain" unless those locations are fairly close to each other (eg. Fort Worth, TX, and Dallas, TX). Adding more locations that are not close to each other will affect the quality of the print, as the map will have to be zoomed out, so those locations may not be legible when printed!

We want to avoid that, but if you really want to have more than one location per "mountain", you agree that the print may not be legible and you won't be able to receive a reprint or a refund based on that issue.

What happens after an order is placed?

We need a day or two to create your artwork. After you approve the artwork, it takes 2-5 business days to print and frame it, in addition to the transit times mentioned below. For detailed shipping info, you can click the Shipping Tab.
